Day 4 - listen to your body

After work today I was all set to head to the gym for me evening work out. However something did not feel right. My joints were pretty sore, plus a few other minor nuances. So I decided to take the night off from working out and let my body take care of itself. When doing a program such as this it is VERY important you listen to your body. If something does not feel right take the day off.. You don’t want to injure yourself. If you do you won’t be able to workout at all.

Even though I am resting tonight I am still burning calories as my muscles are still busy recouping from my weight lifting the last few nights.

Day 4 - Gym bag packed

Had a good morning workout.  Now I got my gym bag packed and ready to go.  I always bring this to work with me so I can head straight to the gym for my evening workout before I head home.

Day 4 - Morning cardio workout on the elliptical

30 minutes on the Elliptical.  My heart rate usually averages about 170 bpm on this one.

Day 3 - Evening workout at Anytime Fitness

Day3 - Anytime Fitness

After work, I have my gym bag and head straight to Anytime Fitness.

Day3 - Anytime Fitness - Ipod

I get my Ipod ready

Day3 - Anytime Fitness - Amino Acids

Take a couple pre-work out Amino Acids. These are vital for muscle growth and thus stimulate more weight loss.

Day3 - Anytime Fitness - Cardio

I start out with 30 minutes of Cardio

Day3 - Anytime Fitness - Weights - Shrugs

Then on to weights. Tonight I will be working the traps and Abs. Here I am doing shrugs.

Day3 - Anytime Fitness - Weights - Abs

Then on to some abs. Not doing to much with weights at this point since it is my first time back in the gym for a while. Will move it up quickly as my muscles adapt.

Day3 - Anytime Fitness - Cardio - Bike

Then to finish the evening I do 20 minutes of cardio on the bike.

Day 3 - Anytime Fitness - Done

All done. Time to exit and head on home. I was at the gym for about an hour and 20 minutes.
