Try a herbal supplement called Rhodiola Rosea – available from all good health stores.
Have one in the morning and one before bed. It helps to stabalise the adrenal system and hence helps to keep you calm and stress free.

nice peaceful music or music you love to boogie to
visualisation where you go to a place…i go to a rain forest and as soon as i get there i imagine a big well and i put all my stressing into that well one by one then i walk around and sometimes im near a waterfall and i just sit there imagining the water flowing
swimming is also good and walking..kick boxing is fantastic i have not done that in ages
affirmations
meditation(i find it hard to shut off my thoughts or i go to sleep)lol but it may work for you
yoga
aromatherapy ..Lavender is really soothing i know many i just cant think right now…google it(or you can email me n i could look it up for you i have lots of books)
keeping a journal note all your stresses n think the positives

What I do for stress is that I find something nondestructive that I like to do that brings me joy and keep it private for me. If I feel absolutely stressed, I will go somewhere and do that activity (meditate, computer, talk out loud, etc.) If you take your mind off of it, you may find a better way to cope with or solve the stress that cures you.
